Our Signature Fundraising Event
Sip & Savour
Dubbed as βthe cocktail party of the year in Kingβ this gala is the Food Bankβs linchpin fundraiser. The King Township Food Bank, operating entirely on volunteer efforts for almost two decades, has seen a rise in demand by over 50% this year. With these funds, weβll continue our mission, supplying over 500 individuals monthly with non-perishable groceries, fresh produce, food cards, and more, ensuring no one in the community goes hungry.

We're happy to participate in the "Give Where You Live" campaign, a collaboration among community food banks across York Region, with our very own King Township Challenge.
The message is simple: when you donate locally, your contribution stays local, helping the people and families in your own community.
Today, the King Township Food Bank serves more than 160 families and over 400 individuals throughout the Township. Every month, volunteers work together to provide food and support to local residents who need a helping hand.
There are two ways to participate: form a team and take part in the King Township Challenge by collecting food for drop off on Sunday, June 28, and/or One Bag Challenge - when you go shopping, buy an extra bag of food for the food bank. Check out our website or this week's issue of The King Weekly Sentinel for more info: www.ktfb.ca. We're grateful for your support! #GiveWhereYouLive ... See MoreSee Less
