how to help

Make a Difference Today:
Every Action Counts

Join us in our mission to support our community. Your contributions are invaluable, whether you choose to donate funds, food, your time, or through corporate sponsorships. Financial donations are efficiently processed via Interac, Canada Helps, or cheque. You can also contribute by donating essential food items, following our guidelines to ensure safety and quality. If volunteering is where your heart lies, we have a variety of roles that cater to different skills and interests. For businesses looking to make a significant impact, our sponsorship opportunities offer a meaningful way to give back. Every contribution, big or small, plays a crucial role in our fight against hunger and in building a stronger, healthier community.

Donate Funds

Supporting Our Community with Your Donation

Your monetary contributions are vital for us. Here’s how you can donate:

  • Interac: Directly donate through your bank to donations@ktfb.ca. This method is efficient, saving us processing fees. For a tax receipt, include your address and contact details.
  • Canada Helps: Conveniently donate online via Canada Helps, who will issue your tax receipt and forward the funds to us, after a small administrative fee.
  • Cheque: Prefer traditional methods? Mail your cheque to King Township Food Bank, P.O. Box 224, Schomberg, ON, L0G 1T0, or contact us for pick-up.
  • Food Cards: Consider donating PC or Foodland/Sobey’s cards. These can be dropped off at Schomberg Foodland, King City Fire Hall, any Food Bank volunteer, a locked mailbox at 116 Church Street, or mailed to us. For a tax receipt, please include your name and address.

Tax receipts for all donations are meticulously recorded as per CRA rules and mailed in February for the previous year. Your support allows us to continue our mission, ensuring no one in our community goes hungry.
